Disclosure Scotland Document Guidelines
Upload Identity Documents
Please upload at least two forms of identity documents, in line with Disclosure Scotland requirements. If only providing two documents, at least one must be photographic.
Where photographic ID is not available, three documents must be provided:
- One document confirming your name and address, and
- One must confirm date of birth, and
- One additional document can come from either group
The documents uploaded should provide confirmation of your Name, Date of Birth and Current Home Address.
Examples of acceptable proof of Name and Date of Birth include:
- Passport
- National ID Card
- Driving Licence
- Birth Certificate
Examples of acceptable proof of current address include:
- Driving Licence (must display your current address)
- Bank, mortgage or credit card statement
- Vehicle registration document
- Council tax statement
- Utility Bill
Examples of acceptable photographic ID include:
- Passport
- Driving Licence
- National ID Card
- PASS Card
- Firearms licence
- Armed forces identity card
All documents must be current, valid and unexpired.
