Sterling Wins World HRD Congress Awards
We are very excited to announce that Sterling was recently awarded two awards at the World HRD Congress (WHRDC) in India. Our Mumbai office was presented with the “Fun at Work” Award. This award acknowledges large organisations for the quality and uniqueness of its employee engagement interventions driven by its highly passionate HR team. Manish Kotwani, Vice President of Human Resources, Mumbai, was the recipient of the Most Influential HR Leaders in India. This award was presented by a jury of peers who conduct extensive research on industry recognition and accomplishments of various HR leaders locally and globally. Congratulations to our Mumbai team!

About World HRD Congress and Awards
World HRD Congress (WHRDC) is a highly recognized global platform that brings Industry & HR leaders together to discuss key HR trends and practices that impact business, human resources and human capital management. The World HRD Congress, a not-for-profit organisation, guided by an advisory council, started 24 years ago. The purpose of the organisation is the “make work and working lives better with the vision and the strength to make a difference in the HR community, business and the economy.” The organisation was founded by Dr. R L Bhatia, a pioneer in transformational thinking and change management.
WHRDC celebrated their 25th anniversary and held a mega conclave from February 15th-17th, 2017 at Hotel Taj Land’s End in Mumbai. The event witnessed participation of 1,400 Business and HR leaders, 208 speakers from organisations across the world and 90 knowledge sharing sessions moderated by 20 industry leaders. These sessions were eventually followed by Industry awards for the best in class organizations, leaders and HR practices. The event’s speakers and sessions covered a variety of topics including HR Strategy, Organisational Development, Building Trust, Leadership, Coaching, Diversity and Global Leadership.
Every year, the World HRD Congress presents awards during the conference. The awards are sponsored by different organizations such as Times Ascent, BBC Knowledge, MODI and IPE. The awards recognize a variety of talented leaders and companies across India and around the globe. Some of the many awards presented are: Making of Developed India, HR Tech, Global HR Excellence, Fun at Work, Most Influential HR Leaders in India, Employer Branding Awards, Coaching Leadership Awards and much more.
